Christian Laforet lives in LaSalle Ontario with his wife and two daughters. He is the author of the short, horror collection, The Space Between Houses, as well as the co-author of the science fiction collection, No Light Tomorrow and the crime anthology, All These Crooked Streets. Having dabbled in short fiction long enough, Christian is putting the final touches on his debut novel, which will bring him back to his horror roots. For more on Christian, check out his website: ChristianLaforet.com.

Fonda Lee is the author of the fantasy saga Jade City (Orbit), a finalist for the Nebula Award and the Locus Award and named a Best Book of 2017 by NPR, Barnes & Noble, Powell’s Books, and Syfy Wire, among others. Her young adult science fiction novels Zeroboxer (Flux) and Exo (Scholastic) were Junior Library Guild Selections and Andre Norton Award finalists. Cross Fire (the sequel to Exo) releases in May 2018. Fonda is a recovering corporate strategist, black belt martial artist, action movie aficionado, and former Torontonian who now lives in Portland, Oregon. You can find Fonda online at www.fondalee.com and on Twitter @fondajlee.

Ben Van Dongen grew up in Windsor Ontario. He likes to think that if he tried harder he could have been an Astronaut, but he is happier writing science fiction anyway. He co-authored the books No Light Tomorrow and All These Crooked streets, and is one half of the founding team of Adventure Worlds Press. His newest book, The Thinking Machine, a cyberpunk novella, is out now.

Kari Maaren is the author of Weave a Circle Round and the popular comic, West of Bathurst. Her CDs are Beowulf Pulled My Arm Off and Everybody Hates Elves. She is the ukelele iregular at the ChiSeries Toronto!
